(Tallahassee, FL) Anheuser-Busch and local beverage wholesaler, Tri-Eagle Sales, provided more than 50,000 cans of emergency drinking water to local communities in the surrounding Big Bend area to aid recovery efforts from Hurricane Debby. The delivery is in response to requests from the local American Red Cross to aid communities impacted by the recent hurricane.

Hurricane Debby was declared a major disaster upon making landfall in Florida earlier this month, causing widespread flooding and property damage throughout the state. This donation of emergency drinking water will supply local area residents and first responders with safe, clean drinking water to aid ongoing recovery efforts.

“We are honored to serve as an Anheuser-Busch wholesaler and stand ready to support our community by joining hands with the American Red Cross to provide Emergency Drinking Water during times of crisis. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that those in need have access to essential resources when it matters most,” says Tripp Transou IV, Vice President of Business Development for Tri-Eagle Sales.

Anheuser-Busch’s wholesaler partner, Tri-Eagle Sales in Midway, FL, is working alongside the American Red Cross to distribute the emergency drinking water to community members and organizations.

“The American Red Cross is deeply grateful to Anheuser-Busch and Tri-Eagle Sales for their generous donation and delivery of safe drinking water following the damage left from Hurricane Debby,” said Lauren Ulrich, Executive Director of Operations Management and Logistics for the American Red Cross. “We appreciate their ongoing support of our mission and feel fortunate to count them as partners.”

Anheuser-Busch has a longstanding tradition of providing emergency drinking water and supplies for disaster relief efforts in partnership with the American Red Cross. Since 1988, Anheuser-Busch and their wholesaler partners have provided more than 90 million cans of water to U.S. communities affected by natural disasters and other crises nationwide.
